I organized The Atlas Center Steppers classes a little over ten years ago at the SoutEast Atlas Regional Center on Chicago's south side. The purpose was to learn the dance known as "Steppin." Steppin was created in Chicago over forty years ago. The group mixes socializing, conversation and dancing in fun filled sessions every Tuesday morning at The Center. In addition to attending "Stepper Sets" around The City, The group sponsors it's own stepper set "Steppin at High Noon" at the legendary 50 Yard Line every month.
